about

After all the home recording and the studio ep we finally felt it was time to construct an album. John and Susannah were roommates in Atlanta and would send demo ideas to Craig. We recorded the album in 2 sessions at Duck Kee with Jerry. One in early winter of 2001 and one in the early summer.

We knew no labels would be interested since we couldn't play live shows so we put it out ourselves again. (We intended to use the Atta Boy logo but totally forgot). We released it right before September 11th happened. As with the prior ep we had the CDs professionally made and assembled everything ourselves. Charles helped with the art and printing for the covers (same with the prior ep).

We actually did play one live show at the Earl in Atlanta to celebrate. Craig flew down and our friend Matt Henley played guitar and Jason Proudler played bass. Later that same night we played a party at our next door neighbor's house.

Afterward we decided we had said all we could with the "band".
