After John moved to Atlanta in the fall of 97 he started recording more of his own songs on the 4 Track. He finally wrote a batch that were good enough to have Craig play drums on so they met in Raleigh (where Craig was living) and recorded the drum parts to the 4 Track in a self storage unit.

Then John mixed that down into his Gateway PC and used Cool Edit Pro to record everything else. 50 CDs were made (at home). Scott appears on the cover even though he had nothing to do with the music. John had not yet thought to ask Susannah to sing but she can be heard yelling at the very end.

We made up "Atta Boy Records" for all the TC releases.

They started out playing music in high school (all covers) and eventually wrote their own songs and were in many bands together as the rhythm section. Eventually John would also take over guitar and songwriting duties with Tinker Clay.
