John wanted to follow up the first TC release with another home recording that was slightly more experimental and conceptual. It was a tape and none of the songs were named. Each side started and ended with short songs that were similar but played on different instruments in different ways.

The drums were recorded in Craig's apartment in Raleigh and everything else at home in Atlanta (like the last TC release).

John thought to ask Susannah to sing on one of the songs and it came out well so she joined "the band" soon after.

This is certainly the least heard TC release. I would assume less than 25 tapes were even made.

They started out playing music in high school (all covers) and eventually wrote their own songs and were in many bands together as the rhythm section. Eventually John would also take over guitar and songwriting duties with Tinker Clay.
